In there:
- Products cetified to OCOP 4-star standards: 06 products
- Products cetified to OCOP 3-star standards: 134 products
Notably, OCOP certified products are sold at prices usually 20 % higher than those of non OCOP products, resulting in 10-30 % increase in sales. OCOP standard certification also contibutes to continual improvement of the products quality, meeting an increased demand from consumbers for high quality products.
The province aims to having at least 40 new OCOP certified products, of which at least 30 meet 3 – 4 star standards; and supports upgrating at least 30 products to 4-5 stars standard in 2023.

Ca Mau Shrimp
Ca Mau tiger shrimp is one of the specialties of the South. This type of shrimp is grown completely naturally, eating natural foods thanks to complex farming techniques.
The meat of Ca Mau black tiger shrimp is juicy, firm, and the size is also relatively larger than white shrimp, about 10 – 13cm long. Thanks to its flavor, the price of this type of shrimp is relatively high, but still lower than that of mother tiger shrimp.

Brand Crab Ca Mau

Fermented Ba Khia Crab
Brand Rach Goc Ba Khia, a fermented three-striped crab dish is a wellknown speciaty of Ca Mau. the dish is made from sesarma, which habitates in blackish mangrove wetland abundant in Ca Mau, by adding salt, sugar and other spices to allow the fermentation process take place for a week or so. Rach Goc Ba Khia is well known among local and tourists for its red roe, fragrant and firm meat.
Specialty Fish
Vast and diverse wetland area in Ca Mau offer a variety of highly commercial value fish species. Fish can be harvest from rice fields, canals network, and near shore seawater. Among those, eel and the marble goby from Tan Thanh district, horseface loach from Cai Doi Vam are specialties. The process of applying for collective trade marks for those valuable commodities is underway.
